Mad for Hats!

28 Apr

The count down has begun for the Royal Wedding.  You can’t even watch television without being bombarded about the Royal Monarchy and speculation over Kate’s dress.

The Brits and Aussie’s know how to pull off amazing hats but the Brits take the cake.  I totally embrace the hat trend and it may be time us Americans start adorning our heads more often.  Who says you can only wear a fabulous hat at the Kentucky Derby?!

Here are some pretty fabulous hats I found online…

(on Ebay and Etsy)

Vintage 50's Hat

Felt hat with feather

An Amazing 60's Schiaparelli Hat

A 1930's Satin Cloche

1970's Pierre Cardin

1950's Black Velvet and Feathered Veil

1950's Hat with fur

And of course la creme de la creme Philip Treacy hats:

Are you inspired??? I am!  Hats are just another piece of art for us girl’s to wear.  I’m excited about their return!
